HONGKONG. 7th. April, 1915.

I have the honour to report, in accordance with Section 4(12) of the Deportation Ordinance 1912, as amended by the Deportation Ordinances of 1913 and 1914, that I have with

the advice of the Executive Council banished from the Colony for a

period of 10 years Wong Shek-kiu, born in the New Territories of parents neither of whom was a British subject. Wong Shek-kiu has

not obtained a Certificate of his British birth, and he is not

registered in a British Consulate in China as a person entitled to British protection in China.

Evidence adduced by the Police showed that

this man took a leading part in what is regarded as an attempt to fit out in Hongkong a piratical expedition to China. From inform— -tion in the possession of the Police he took part in the piracy

of the "Childar" and in a recent gang robbery in the New Territori-
